User Agreement for iPublic,
The Clerk of the 12th Judicial Circuit Court's Website for accessing information of
the Circuit Court of the 12th Judicial Circuit, Will County, Illinois

The purpose of this agreement is to insure compliance with the laws, rules and regulations of the Circuit Court of the 12th Judicial Circuit, Will County, Illinois, (herein, the "Court"), the State of Illinois and the United States of America. It shall be a violation for anyone to unlawfully or without authorization make inquiries of Court information, by any means, including but not limited to the use of the iPublic Website. The Clerk of the 12th Judicial Circuit Court reserves the right to in their sole discretion, limit, deny or terminate access to the iPublic Website.

Should the User inadvertently, wrongly or mistakenly obtain information or documents containing legally protected personal, privileged, restricted or court sealed documents or information through access granted to the iPublic Website, the User shall immediately notify the Clerk of the 12th Judicial Circuit Court, shall relinquish any documents or information obtained and shall not redistribute or use the document or information in any way.

The User shall not reproduce, copy, redistribute, or electronically post to the web, cloud or other electronic forum any information or document obtained through the iPublic Website and shall retain such documents and information for their sole use.

The use of high-volume, automated, electronic processes, to extract Court information from the iPublic Website is expressly prohibited. You agree that you may use Court information only for lawful purposes and that under no circumstances will you use Court information for commercial purposes or to allow, enable, or otherwise support the transmission of mass unsolicited, commercial advertising or solicitations via direct mail, e-mail, telephone, or facsimile.

If any misuse of the iPublic Website or the documents or information provided therein is discovered, the Clerk of the 12th Judicial Circuit Court shall refer such conduct to the appropriate authorities for investigation and access to the iPublic Website shall be terminated immediately.

The Clerk of the 12th Judicial Circuit Court reserves all rights and remedies it now has or may have in the future, including, but not limited to, the right to terminate your access to the iPublic Website in their sole discretion, for any violations by you of these terms of use, including without limitation, for excessive querying of the iPublic Website or for failure to otherwise abide by these terms of use. The Clerk of the 12th Judicial Circuit Court reserves the right to modify these terms at any time.
